Buying HTC One M8 from Aliexpress, question about model.

Hey guys,

Has anyone here bought or had anything to do with Aliexpress? I want to buy an HTC One M8 my self, but I come across different models, which are usually 16/32GB EU and 16/32GB US version. for example: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Unloc...993568822.html

Does anyone know what is the difference between them? Could I still use the US version in Europe? US version is cheaper and has more space (16GBvs32GB).

And if anybody bought from there, what is your experience, was everything okay?

Looking for Testers with the T817 model to test new root hack.

Looking for testers with the T817 model (no ATT or Veizon models) to test a new hack to get root on Samsung stock SElinux Enforcing kernels running Android 5.11 or Android 6.0.
This means the kernel will be stock, so LTE will be unaffected.

Basically what this is about:

Chainfire has released new beta's of Supersu, the latest is 2.52. This new release can root Samsung 5.1.1 roms and Android 6.0 Marshmallow roms.
However to accomplish this a patch needs to be applied to the kernel Ramdisk to allow root with stock kernels.

I need someone willing to test the patched Ramdisk and kernel on their device which has 5.1.1 installed.

The procedure is fairly simple all that is required is to flash the new boot.img with Odin, then root with Supersu v2.52.

One Plus 2 Rom for different model

There are 3 versions of OnePlus 2 Which are;
A2001 - Chinese model
A2003 - European and Asian model
A2005 - US model
Do you know, all roms are suitable for these models? For example, can i use A2001 rom for A2005?

Best Note 5 Model for modding?

hi fellow XDA peeps,
Please dont bash me... i did some research but still need a bit of advice....

I am interested in purchasing a Note 5, can someone tell me which version/model of the Note 5 is the best for modding and would most likely be the one with lots of custom roms?
I know it might be a bit early to say this but, I'm hoping that you guys can still give me some advice. I did some research and saw that there is a custom rom or two out right now, especially here on XDA but, i noticed this is specifically for the N920 I/C/G. : http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...om-l1-t3195076

Also, I read that the T-Mobile version comes with an unlocked bootloader. Does the other models come with unlocked bootloader as well?
I would greatly appreciate your help guys and any other advice concerning Note 5 versions/models, modding, custom roms, unlocked/unlocking bootloaders is most welcomed.

1) best version/model for modding and most likely most custom roms?
2) which version/model comes with unlocked bootloader/s?
