Bluetooth Contacts - Telephone App

Hi all
i have an autompumkin android 4.4 device.
i have problems with my contacts, they are synced but not all
so i think there is an limitation for the contacts.
my question is how do you handle your contacts? can i sync the contacts with google? how can i use them with the telephone app
is there an alternative telephone/Dialer app i can use?

How to backup all contacts with full res images

I like to experiment with roms and settings and that's why i have to take backups and restore my contacts several times a month. Google contacts sync is worse than useless (reason: suppose one contact has multiple phone numbers and emails, after restore Google always creates separate contacts with those, and it doesn't backup high resolution images).
There are several apps on playstore which deal with this issue but they all fail miserably while backing up original quality contact photos stored in my device. Mcbackup does a decent job but even when photo compression is disabled, is still reduces the quality of saved images.
So please please please help me find a proper way to take full contact backups with original quality contact images. Share your valuable experience. :)

[Q] Contacts show up twice in dialer

So this is a weird issue.
Using the Sony Dialer when I use T9 to search for a contact via name it shows each contact twice that has whatsapp.
I guess this is because whatsapp places the same number again in the contact under "whatsapp calling"
Google stock launcher ignores this and just shows each contact once, but because the sony dialer shows each contact with each number most of my contacts show up twice.
This is really annoying. Is there anyway to tell the dialer to just show a contact once if it has a duplicate number?
Or can I somehow install the google dialer on a sony rom?

Lost my contacts when i did a reset. Please help.

Ok so i have a att S4 rooted etc. I took it to straight talk boyd deal., and now im on straight talk but its still a att s4.. so when i did the factory reset today i lost my contacts.. i tried to use the att address book to restore my contacts like i do when i flash a rom but its saying not registered... is there a way for me to get those contacts back? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Facebook contacts not syncing with Tab S2

Hi,
I've installed Facebook app on my new Galaxy Tab S2. Inside account's settings I can see only Contacts to sync (unlike on Note 4 where I have calendar and photos to sync), but syncing doesn't work. When I manually sync it ends immediatly, but no facebook contacts are visible.
Does anyone have similar issues?

Replace stock contacts manager with Google Contacts

Hi All,

I have recently got a Lenovo K3 Note, which I rooted almost immediately and started playing with...
There are a couple of annoying things and the worst one is that the Contacts Manager that comes with it is ugly, has a terrible icon and has these stupid Chinese characters... plus is not really like the Google Contacts (or People) that I had on my old phone.

I was wondering if it's possible to get the google contacts app back. I have tried looking for the apk but with no luck. I would like to avoid flashing a custom rom (I'm very happy with the way it is now and don't feel like experimenting too much).

I have noticed that there are gapps packages which I can flash with TWRP but before I get there I wanted to ask if it's the right direction to go or if those are just other apps.

Ideally I would like to find an apk for that and simpy replace the system contacts manager through Titanium.

Any help or ideas?

Unable to sync Google contacts with tablet (Android)

Hi all,
I have just taken delivery of my X98 air 3g tablet and have setup the android side with my gmail account details, but there appears to be no way to enable syncing with my gmail contacts. In the account options it doesn't list contacts, and in the contact app I can only add two types of account, corporate or game centre account.
Can anybody please advise me if there is any way to access my gmail contacts on this tablet in android mode (I haven't even thought about syncing the windows 10 side yet :( ).
